You might see a numeric error code; the camera stops focusing and shooting while displaying an "F ----" Aperture value.
- If you're using an interchangeable lens camera:
- Disconnect the lens.
- Check if the lens mount and camera contacts are clean: gently remove any dirt with a soft dry cloth.
- Reattach the lens to the camera.
- Disconnect all accessories, remove the memory cards and the battery, and reinsert the battery.
- Finally, try to reset the camera to the factory settings (initialization). Consult your product manual if you're unsure about the reset procedure.
